KickFit is 100% South African company. The concept came to me whilst training with a personal trainer. I realised that the average Joe on the street does not have enough knowledge, time or motivation to really get in shape. This is when I decided to create Kick-Fit: 40 minute high intensity, group exercise classes, that combines cardio, kickboxing and strength training.
Since training with a personal trainer, I realised that there is just no way a person can get into shape on your own. We all need a little help with exercise routines, nutrition and a little push for motivation. Joining a big box gym or chain health club still means that you need to get a personal trainer for results and this is where it becomes expensive.So, I was searching for a solution where you can have an all-in-one and that is where the planning of a training circuit started. The idea is to have a brand where you can walk in at any time, start training, get fit and have a personal trainer with you all the time. You also don’t need to book a class or wait for equipment. Nowadays everybody and especially women want to do kickboxing, but most of the clubs scares them away. That is why we don’t have a boxing ring and never do sparring. You can do jabs, uppercuts, hooks, front kicks, side kicks and round kicks all with a trainer to help you do it the right way. With our 40 minute kickbox training circuit you’ll get a full body workout, burn fat and learn some self-defence moves. That is pretty amazing and you’ll get all this in only 40 minutes a day.
